For example, the former US ambassador for Italy, Mel Sembler, had been one of the Bush fund-raisers before his appointment, which happened just after Bush Junior became President. To me, like any Italian, Mr. Sembler bribed Bush to get his position. If Berlusconi or Prodi had made something similar, they would have faced a big scandal.<br/>But I think that if you ask Sembler, or any US citizen, if he bribed Bush he will sincerely answer "No way!".<br/>On the other hand, these statistics can show quite well how things change in a specific country.
